Irving Amateur Radio Club is facilitating JOTA for the 3rd year in a row at the Boy Scout Museum located at 1329 W Walnut Hill Ln. Irving, TX 75038-3027 (map below). We will be setting up several stations, IRLP, HF, PSK31, UHF/VHF for the scouts to be able to make contacts around the world. We will be on the air with the call K2BSA/5 on October 16, 2010 from the hours of 10 am - 5 pm Central Time.
We will have special presentation by Mark Fox from the National Weather Service on “Severe Weather and Scouting” as part of our JOTA efforts there.
