Hand Held: need at least a 2m hand held.  We usually transmit on 146.58.
Fox hunt tape measure yagi
Attenuator is used to help narrow the signal the closer you get to it.
Doppler: mounted on top of vehicle.

All that is needed is a hand held radio.  The other items are used to help narrow the signal and make it easier to find the signal.
